Welcome!

Welcome to Pauljm.net, my interactive resume and portfolio. Remember as you browse that the site itself is probably the best public example of my work, and has engaged most of my skills as a designer and an engineer. I wrote all the code myself, leveraging JSP, Struts, Hibernate and Log4J on the server side and making use of CSS and JavaScript on the client side, and I administer the site myself.

I'm happy to answer any questions you have about me, my skills or my experience. My email address is pauljm@gmail.com and I check it often. Thanks for coming!

Site Goes Live!

After several months of design and coding in my spare time, this first iteration of the site is ready for visitors. It's been a fun project so far, and I'm looking forward to adding more to the site as time allows.

Worked Out a Few Kinks

After a long debugging effort and some attentive support from the people at DailyRazor Hosting, I've resolved some initially baffling issues with database connection pooling. Things now seem to be working as they do on my local development server.

Added an Error Page

I just added a custom error page, generated dynamically to present a status code description and, for server errors, a stack trace. To see it in action click this link: broken JSP. Now hopefully you'll never see it again.
